Health and Human Service Agencies State of Illinois TCT is currently engaged to develop and implement the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) for the State of Illinois. SACWIS is an automated case management system that supports Illinois’ Best Practice Model. The system is designed to assist workers in providing improved services to families and children, and to meet federal reporting requirements. TCT is nearing completion of the development for the SACWIS application for its client. The system is deployed in a web based, intranet environment. The entire project is built on the n-tier model of Windows DNA. Business Objects are being utilized to provide the communication with Presentation Layer and Data Layer, which is directly tied to the database. Great care is being taken that the system will meet all the Federal and State requirements. TCT’s consultants are determining user requirements, executing all levels of object development, and using Business Objects to create reports.
